glad I caught it with her cause she gets me.
well. I saw so much of Moulin Rouge and Romeo & Juliet in it. especially when gabsty got shot (just like in R&J), the pool scene (with claire Danes) and those typewriter scenes with Nick (just like Ethan with his). also what really touched my heart was the few times I saw gabsty smile and all over again I'm taken back to the time or jack and a young Leo.

BUT
no gabsty just wasn't right for him. or maybe it's how I felt when I saw Leo kissing carrey like how a father kisses his daughter. he's getting old and gabsty is..gabsty.
the soundtrack on the other hand BRILLIANT I liked how it steered away from the conventional (maybe more dramatic or alternative) and went towards music more from the hood (lol) although Young And Beautiful was injected in a lot of rather inappropriate times
tobey maguire also never fails to amaze me CAUSE HE NEVER AGES. but anyway the film just left me feeling like I should go for the xx
